When: April 2019
Where: AEA Chicago, Porchlight Music Theatre, and the homes of generous friends
Who: Leaders of the Chicago Theatre community who kindly took the time to see us, and those of us MU seniors committed to moving to Chicago soon after graduation.
What: We performed our audition material and heard from Millikin Alums and Casting Directors about Chicago Theatre industry and culture.
Later, I got called in by an Agency for an interview, and a few prestigious theatres invited me to their EPA's that season! It was so encouraging to be welcomed into the Chicago industry.
I won't be able to set up shop there until 2020, but I'm thrilled to know there is such a vibrant, diverse, and excellent theatre community to serve in Chicago😊
P.S. The bubble tea was SOO GOOD!
