The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

On historic Union Ave, deep in the city of St. Louis, in an abandoned church with luminescent stained-glass, we got to explore one of my favorite contemporary plays.

I was cast as Fabiana Aziza Cunningham, a role that gave me space to exist as a fiercely idealistic and articulate woman. I LOVE Fabiana, and contrary to what my type-cast might suggest, easily found my way through her arguments and tactics.

Kristin Schoenback was a masterful and joyful supporter of my exploration and energy throughout the process, and working opposite Tim Gouran created some of the best "acting-ping-pong" I've experienced on a professional stage!

I wasn't the only one who noticed how our performances shone:

"There are several well-etched portrayals by the cast, including Tim Gouran, appropriately cocky and condescending as the Prince of Darkness himself, able to switch from dapper and debonair to menacing and scary on a dime. Hannah Geisz is excellent as the hard-working defense attorney, Fabiana Cunningham, who works to keep her emotions in check."

It was an honor to play such a meaty role with this impressive creative team and goofy cast!

Cheers to a thrilling experience!
